| Charlotte Ranz, RYT | |
Charlotte received her teacher training from Esther Myers. Myers studied with Vanda Scaravelli, author of Awakening the Spine, who developed her own method of yoga. Scaravelli's approach integrated quiet surrender with flowing energy to bring grace, joy, ease and harmony to the postures. Scaravelli studied under both Iyengar and Desikachar.
As part of her education, Charlotte received extensive training in anatomy, working with those who have limitations and disabilities, and understanding the mechanics of the body in motion.
She has taken numerous ongoing workshops each year from outstanding yogis such as Myers, Erich Schiffmann, Joy Doherty and Monica Voss. She also has completed courses in Nuad Boran for Yoga and Bodywork and Accu-Yoga with Michael Gach.
Charlotte teaches all levels of yoga at the Fuquay-Varina Masonic Lodge and also has private clients whom she teaches in their homes. If you are interested in private sessions customized for your special needs, contact Charlotte for availability. Rates: $75/individual class.
She is a member of the International Yoga Alliance, the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and a member of the Yoga Teachers Association of Central North Carolina.
